Adding a photo to a contact on HTC One M8 is as easy as it sounds. You can either take a photo or use an existing image and assign it to a contact on your phone. To Add Photo to a Contact on HTC One M8, do as follows:

 

1. Open People application and find the contact you'd like to assign a photo to
2. Tap the Contact to open the details
3. If no profile picture is available, you should see a default gray image as the profile image on the top of the page
4. You simply need to tap the Refresh button on the bottom right of the picture
5. Now Select the contact photo via Gallery, Camera or other available options
6. When selected, Crop the image and the selected picture is now assigned to the contact
