How to Enable Lock Screen Widgets on KitKat


 

 

 

 

 

If you already own an Android device running Android 4.4 KitKat (Let' say Nexus 5), you have noticed lock screen widgets are not enabled by default and like on Jelly Bean 4.2 and 4.3 devices, you can not just drag to left in the lockscreen and add widgets. To enable adding lock screen widgets on KitKat 4.4, do as follows:

1. Open Settings application

2. Go to Security

3. Scroll down and make sure to mark "Enable Widgets" option to be bale to add widgets on lock screen
