how to activate Data on Galaxy Grand

Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos (I9082) Supports two SIM cards, and you can choose which SIM should be used as a data service mobile. To use 3G internet on your phone do as follows:

1. Open "Setting" App

2. Go to "SIM Card Manager"

3. Tap on "Data Service Network"

4. Choose the SIM as the Data SIM

Note that, only the first SIM slot supports 3G interent. So if you want to use 3G you must set your 3G SIM on the first SIM slot

Hi, I just wanna ask. It is not a problem if use my broadband sim together with the normal sim right?

It just that right now I have problem with my data connectivity. I can't online although I already on my mobile data (broadband sim) that I insert into the SIM 2. After I read all of the comments below, I thought maybe it is because I insert my bb sim into the second slot.

Anyway, I'll try to change it after this and see how it works. I just can't help but to comment. Hihi. Thank you.

First try another device to see if the problem still persists, and if so contact your provider.

If the other device could use Mobile Data while talking, use our email address and describe the issue fully so we can forward it to one of our experts.

@AshleshaBallal

Are you trying to get data on both SIM cards activated at the same time? If so, it is not possible.

Otherwise, you just need to choose the bsnl SIM as your data SIM.

Hi,

There shouldn't be any problem using data on both SIM cards. The only issue is that only the first SIM slot supports 3G connection.

HI,

I am using Galaxy Grad and having some issues. If I am connecting to Mobile network both sim mobile network gets activated at a time. Like I have vodafone and reliance network. I want to connect to Vodafone mobile network, but when I connect both mobile network gets connected and if I check which network it is using currently then I came to know that its using reliance network. Please suggest how to connect to a particular network at a time. I am willing to connect to Vodafone network.

Thanks

Hi,

The settings seem to be fine

Maybe there are some issues with the network (bad reception or so), and it is better you contact with your service provider.

The network is all right !, I used before my Sim 2 on regular phone and it works fine, now on my grand sometimes he is not on line. Only if I call someone on SIM 2 when i received the message that somebody called me before on SIM 2. This problem happened not so offend but anyway create me a problem.  ! Maybe somebody can give me an advice. ! Maybe I need a mini Sim 2 or a new one , and i have to switch it to my operator ?

@IulianSuhan @androidwidgetcenter just go to your settings,  sim card manager settings. then click on the box that says receive incoming calls via other simcard while using data services. and also click dual sim always on.

Hi

To stop from using internet services, you just need to turn off mobile data. It can be done, by sliding down the notification bar and then tapping Mobile Data icon
