How to Create Folder on Android Phone/Tablet


 

 

 

 

 

Google added the ability to create folders without extra application, when introducing ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich). The way to create folders varies from launchers to launchers. Here are 2 common ways to create folder on Home Screen:

  1. Move the shortcut of one application on the another one. This leads to create an automatic folder on your home screen containing these two apps
  2. Tap on an empty place on your home screen and open “Add”. Choose Folders, and then “New Folder”. After renaming the created folder, you can drag and drop the applications into this folder
