By default all android applications are installed automatically in the device internal memory.
There are several different ways to transfer these applications; the easiest of them is already a default feature in Android 2.2 and later versions. You simply need to go to Settings > Applications, then from the list select any app that you wish to transfer, finally by tapping Move to SD option, all application contents and files would transfer to SD card.
Note that not all applications can be transferred to SD card, like system applications. It is also possible that live widgets doesn’t work properly if you try to transfer its base application to SD card.
Do not forget that if you have a rooted Android device you can always transfer any applications.
