How to Use Air Gesture on Galaxy S4


 

 

 

 

 

Well, here we are with the 200th Android Tip on AW Center.
The air gesture sensor is positioned at the top right above the screen of your Samsung Galaxy S4 device. The sensor can recognize your gestures from a distance of under 7cm at normal speed. When air gestures are available, the Air Gesture icon will appear on the status bar at the top of the screen

How to use Air Gesture on S4:

 

1. Go to “Setting” app
2. Go to “My Device” tab
3. Scroll down to find “Motions and Gestures” and tap it
4. Make sure “Air Gesture” is On and then tap it
5. Here are 5 options: (Note that you can tap each option to see how it works)
a. Quick Glance: When the screen is off, reach towards your device to see important information at a glance. You can choose to see and get more info about: Time & Date, Notification icons and Missed Calls
b. Air Jump: Scroll web pages in screen-sized jumps
c. Air Browse: Move between pictures, pages, or mobile tracks
d. Air Move: Move app shortcuts or S Planner events to different pages
e. Air call-accept: Wave your hand over the screen to accept incoming calls
