Don’t waste your time looking for a voice call option in WhatsApp, because it has not been enabled yet (It will probably be available from the next summer).
While you wait for that feature to come, you can still send text and voice messages via private or public groups, send emoticons and share files with your friends.
In order to do that, choose one of your WhatsApp friends or groups. You can type your text message on the keypad, and then press the button shown in the screenshot shown below.
For sending a voice message, all you need to do is hold the microphone button shown below, and record your message as you are still holding the button down. Let go of it after your message is finished so it can be sent to your friend.
Choose the paperclip button shown below to choose the file you want to share with your friends, from your gadget’s file manager.
Sending an emoticon isn’t so hard either. Just see the screenshot below.
