1. Samsung’s Road Map: Foldable Screens, 4K Resolutions, and Own Made CPU
In the last Android News Digest we cover the Samsung’s intent to produce devices with completely foldable screens by 2015 and here are the other Samsung’s goals for the next 2 years: Producing devices with 560ppi displays (The resolution for a 5.25” screen will be 2560 x 1440 pixels) and reaching to 4K displays in 2015 with a resolution of 3840 x 210.
The other thing is about making customized CPUs based on the ARM structure, and the first develop will be the 64bit CPUs expected to be used in Galaxy S5.
2. Pictures of HTC One Successor Leaked
The back cover of the HTC M8 (next version of M7 aka HTC One) leaked and there is nothing to tell but a new element on the design. If you look closer at the images, you will notice a hole above the camera lens and the very first thing pops in the mind is that, this is going to be a finger print sensor.
Expected features for HTC’s new flagship are: A 5.2inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels, Snapdragon 800 (or the later available version), 3GB of RAM, Android KitKat with Sense 6.0
3. Verizon Updated Galaxy Note 3 for Sound and Connectivity Improvements
Verizon just released a minor update for its Galaxy Note 3 to bring more sound quality (actually fixing the terrible sound quality) and fix some connectivity issues.
While the update is as simple as it looks, it shouldn’t take you long and you just need to go to About Phone > System Update to start the updating process
