1. Samsung Shipped 10 Million Units of Galaxy Note 3 in 2 Months
The title speaks for itself; the new Samsung’s phablet has just been amazing so far, sales wise. The Korean announced 10 million units of Galaxy Note 3 have been shipped in 2 month since the global launch of the product in 50 countries. The sales speed is 4.5 times faster than Galaxy Note 1 and 2 times faster than Note 2 which took 4 months to reach 10 million sales.
2. LG Reportedly Working on the LG G2 Mini
While the latest statistics show that LG G2’ sales have been kind of disappointing for the LG and fallen below expectation, the mini version of best LG’s devices in 2013 might be announced. What we know is that LG is trying to keep all the G2’s features expect the screen size which will be 0.5” smaller (4.7 inches) with 720p resolutions.
CES 2014 in Las Vegas is expected to be the host of announcing event for LG G2 Mini or whatever its name is.
3. Android 4.4.2 is Now Live for Nexus Devices
Google released the KitKat 4.4.2 for Nexus devices to fix the bugs discovered in the Android 4.4.1 which had been rolled out just a week ago.
So, if you have already updated to Android 4.4.1 then you’ll get a minor update to go to 4.4.2, but if you are still running Android 4.4 then you’ll receive the 4.4.2 update OTA and skip the 4.4.1.
The update is being rolled out gradually to Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (WiFi and Cellular versions), and Nexus 10. So, it is just a matter of time to get the update notification.
