1. 3 New Google Play Edition Devices Announced: Nexus 7 white, Xperia Ultra, G Pad 8.3

After the availability of GPE of Galaxy S4 and HTC One, Google made 3 new devices available to buy, starting from today in select countries.

Google is planning to sell the white Nexus 7 2013 (only the WiFi 32GB version) in the U.S., UK and Japan, and if you open the Play Store site in the UK you will see the Coming Soon message, while the device is available to purchase in the U.S.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra GPE will be sold at $649 with the same specifications as the Z Ultra except the software builds. The device will be offered by AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. and it is yet unknown if Google is planning to make the phablet available in other countries or not.

The LG’s well designed 8 inches tablet is the last device to get the Google Play treat today, and you need to pay $349.99 in the U.S. to see what LG and Google have cooked! Like the Z Ultra, there are no details about the availability of G Pad 8.3 GPE outside the U.S.

2. The new Sprint Galaxy S4 is Compatible with Sprint Spark

Sprint announced the availability of new version of Galaxy S4 which is compatible with the new Sprint LTE network.

For now, Sprint Spark is only available in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Tampa, and Sprint promises more coverage to come soon.

3. Huawei Ascend P7 Specs Leaked: It’s a Real Deal

According to some leaked documents, Huawei is working on a new High-end device, called Sophia. It is expected to be the codename for Ascend P7 with following specs: 5.0” Full HD TFT LCD display, HiSilicon Balong 910 chipset with a quad-core 1.6GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD support, 13MP and outstanding 8MP rear and front and 2460 mAh battery.

The device will be available sometime in the early Q2 2014 (April?) and until then more details will come up.
