1. AT&T Offers Moto X and LG G2 For Free on Contract
Moto X and LG G2 have been definitely among the 5 best smartphones announced in 2013, and now one of the best U.S. carriers, AT&T, is offering these 2 great devices for free, if you are willing to accept the 2-year contract with qualified plan including voice & data.
Note that this promotion is only available online and in case of Moto X, you don’t have the option to design and customize your own device.
Since the offers are valid until the end of January (1/31/14) with limited supplies, you don’t have much time to decide and you need to make up your mind faster. If you are asking us, we should say it’s really hard to find another Android phone to beat LG G2 in functionally and performance, but Moto X loses much of its awesomeness as you don’t have any customization and personalization options.
By the way, here are the links to AT&T store to get Moto X or LG G2.
2 . Xperia Z1 Colorful Edition to Hit China in Late February
Don’t get confused! Z1 Colorful Edition is not yet another new Sony device announced in 2014. It is exactly the same as Xperia Z1 Compact, but only for Chinese market and the lack of LTE connection support. It means, you still have the option to pick one of these Black, White, Pink, an Lime colors, and you’ll have all the great features of Z1 Compact including the powerful processor, fantastic display and the of course its great camera.
The device will be available in late February for about $661.
3. LG Officially Launches LG G2 in Red and Gold
Yesterday we reported about the availability of LG G2 Gold Edition in Taiwan, and now the company has added Gold and Red to the list of available colors for their 2013’s flagship to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Both new colors will be available from January 18th in Singapore at $898 SGD (about $705 USDB) off-contract.
About the specs and possible changes compare to the Black or White variants, while the hardware and specification remains the same, the back cover is now a textured back which is easier to maintain and isn’t fingerprint absorb-friendly!!
