1. LG Q3 2013 Earnings Announced: 12 million phones shipped
LG Company announced its Q3 2013 statement which shows $12.51 billion in revenues and $196.34 million in operating profit. The mobile division of LG account for $2.75 billion of total revenue due to shipment of 12milion phone in the period.
2. Samsung Could Sell More Than 40million Galaxy S4 so far
While LG is celebrating its sales which are up 24% year-on-year, the CEO of other Korean company, Samsung, announced 40million units of Galaxy S4 have been sold since the launch. Samsung could sell 10million units in just one month after the launch, but since then all the reports pointed out the failure of Galaxy S4 in contenting the success of Galaxy S family and there are even some rumors about the early launch of Galaxy S5.
3. Galaxy Mini S4 Will Be Officially Launched to U.S. Next Month
After some rumors about the availability of Galaxy S4 mini in the U.S., Samsung finally announced that the device will be headed to the U.S. this November.
There is no exact price, launch date, and what we already know is that the device will get an update next month to be compatible with Galaxy Gear.
AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular are going to offer Galaxy S4 Mini with contract.
