It seems Samsung is going to name the less powerful (and less pricy) versions of its devices, with the “Neo” suffix, as we have seen the Galaxy Grand Neo and recently Galaxy Note 3 Neo as the first Neo versions of Galaxy devices, Note 3 and Grand 2. There are also some people who believe the Neo means the refreshed versions of older Samsung devices, not the Lite version of new ones, and to support this theory; when we look at the specs of Grand Neo, we notice it is more like a refreshed version of original Galaxy Grand, rather than the Galaxy Grand II. It is also the same story for Galaxy Note 3 Neo, when we compare it with specifications of Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3.
By the way, here are the full leaked specs of Galaxy Note 3 Neo:
- 151.1 x ??? x 8.6 mm
- 5.55” HD Super AMOLED
- 1.7 GHz Dual-core + 1.3GHz Quad-core (Hexa)
- 2GB of RAM, 16GB of Internal Storage, MicroSD card support
- Wi-FI (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, NFC, IR Blaster
- 8MP / 1.9MP Rear and Front camera
- Android Jelly Bean 4.3
- 3100mAh battery

We first mentioned the Neo suffix means the refreshed version of older Samsung devices, and if we compare the specs of Note 3 New with Note 2, we notice the same screen size, resolution, battery, camera, and connectivity options. And since Note 3 Neo is carrying the Note 3 name, it features all the new software features available on the Note 3 (and Galaxy S4) including Air Commands, Magazine UX, and Advanced Multi Window. The leaked documents also suggest the leather-like back cover for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo which seems to be the Samsung’s solution to make plastic body look premium.
Oh, we missed the Hexa processor. We really don't know what this new Samsung's processor is capable of, but we wouldn't be surprised if this new processor let all the 6 cores function and process at the same time.
Although there are not details about the official announcement and the launch, but we are guessing, Barcelona will be the host of Samsung Galaxy Neo devices, for now: Galaxy Grand Neo and Galaxy Note 3 Neo, at MWC in February.

Update: Here are the pictures and Antutu benchmark results for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo
What turns a leak to a perfect leak? The real pictures. SamMobile has just posted some real pictures of the new Galaxy Note device, which suggests the design and is almost the same as the Galaxy Note 3, including the leather back cover and new S Pen, except the smaller size, camera lens and of course the hardware specifications.
About the performance and hardware specs, according to running tests via CPU-Z application all the available 6 cores (Hexa) are processing at the same time and there are HSPA+ and LTE variants which come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, IR blaster, MHL 2.0, and MicroUSB port (it's not USB 3.0).
And about the benchmark results, here you can see where the Note 3 Neo stands and what are its scores:

Well, according to SamMobile, the official announcement of Galaxy Note 3 Neo is about soon, as the pr-order website has just started in the Belgium (Although it is not available for customers to place their orders yet) and some press images have been leaked. Since Note 3 Neo is the light version of Note 3, its price is also lighter (cheaper), and it costs about €599 at launch. It is still unclear when the official announcement and pre-order happens, but the source is pretty sure it will happen soon.
