Most probably, you have already heard some news about Samsung's latest smartphone, the Galaxy S5 which has caused started many debates over the internet. Here at Android Widget Center, we are going to have a quick review about this phone, so you have enough information to know about Samsung's latest release so far, but if you wish to know more technical and specific information on this topic, you can read more about the Galaxy S5 here.
As you are aware, Samsung has released the Galaxy S5 that may look familiar and similar to the previous versions of the Galaxy phones, but has noticeable changes and upgrades that make it quite outstanding. First of all the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 801, the same processor used in LG G2 and Sony Xperia Z2.
The Galaxy S5 is equipped with a 16 megapixel camera that is capable of recording 4K videos (although the screen is not able to replay the recording with full detail). It also gives you the option of taking a photo first, then applying the special effects of Samsung after the capture. This way you won't have to worry about having to pick the right camera mode before shooting.

AppearanceAlthough the front looks kind of the same as the S4, the back has a much better appearance now. The back of Galaxy S5 is still made with plastic material, but it doesn't look as cheap and doesn't slip from surfaces as much as the old Galaxies. It has a 5.1 inch screen with a pretty great resolution of 1920 × 1080. Another special feature is that the phone is dust and waterproof at 3 feet under water, 30 minutes at a time.
Finger Print ScannerThe fingerprint scanner is also another noticeable feature of the Galaxy 5S that may raise gossip about being copied form the Apple finger scanner. The difference though, is that in the Galax 5S, you need to swipe you finger vertically across the Home button rather than holding it still like the Apple products. The most important use of this feature is for approving PayPal transactions, meaning you will be able to do online shopping using your phone (and is not limited to shopping from iTunes only).
The Heartbeat SensorThe heart beat sensor can calculate you heart beat rate using the sensors located below the camera in just a few seconds. The phone has an already-installed S Health app that will give you a health status and can sync with Samsung's Gear line of wearables.
A price has not been set for the new Galaxy S5 yet. We just have to wait and see if this new phone of Samsung will be a success in the markets as the previous S4.
