Well, the next iteration of the successful HTC One, M8, announced last week and is now available to purchase from many carriers and markets worldwide (including AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon in the U.S. and major UK carriers). One of the unique and outstanding features of the new HTC One was indeed the innovative Dot View Case which shows the notifications in a minimalistic way via the dots on the case and lets you accept/reject incoming calls without the bother to open the case.

This new HTC M8’s case gets more awesome as the Taiwanese OEM has just released the HTC Dot View application on Google Play Store, so users will be receiving the latest new features as soon as HTC makes them available. In other words you don’t have to wait for carriers to roll-out the update as you receive the updates directly from HTC via this HTC Dot View application.
For now, the Dot View Case shows current time, email notifications (for the default HTC email app), battery low alert, schedule reminders, weather conditions, the option to accept/reject incoming calls, missed calls and text messages notifications. We are hoping to see the support for Google products, to get the notifications from Gmail or Hangouts via the gorgeous case.
If you have already bought an HTC One M8, go to HTC shop and see if you are lucky enough to buy a Dot View Case as most of the colors are out of stock and we are not sure when the inventory gets full again.
