After introducing the first smart phone with a true octa-core performance by Huawei, another Chinese company announced Vivo Xplay 3S, as the first smart phone with 2K HD screen or to be more precise, with 1440x2560 pixels of resolution.
Vivo Xplay 3S General Specifications:

- DTS Multi-channel sound
- 13MP , 5MP Rear and Front Camera
- 3200 mAh Battery
- Only 4.8mm Thickness
The most important thing about Xplay 3S is without any doubt the HD screen and whopping 490 pixels per inches density. We are not discussing if human eyes can distinguish such details or not, but we should accept the 2K screens are the future of smart devices (at least on Android devices and mostly on Galaxy devices), regardless of their necessity and the amount of battery power they consume. And frankly we are not sure if Snapdragon 800, and 3200 mAh are powerful enough to provide a pleasant experience while working with the 2K screen devices.
Vivo adds some great features to Xplay 3S to indicate that the device is not all about the screen, and you can have many entertaining and exciting features with the gorgeous screen. Som e of these features are:
The Augmented Reality software applied on the Xplay 3S, does its best to make you familiar with strange cities, at the fastest time, so you can easily shop, find your required services, and navigate with ease.
The Smart Alarm VIP, sets the alarm at the best time, considering your next destinations (both location and the time) and even the real time traffic. It also provides you the most convenient route to your destination.
Custom Gestures are defined again. You can now communicate with your device, as you draw pre-defined gestures with your device. In other words, you just need to tilt and move your device to call certain commands.
On paper, the Vivo Xplay 3S is one of the most considerable smart phones available and since some reports suggest that the Vivo is planning the global release, you might be able to work with it soon to see how it functions out of the paper.
For now, you can pre-order the Xplay 3S only in China with the January as the delivery time, and $580 as the off contract price.
