To activate power saving mode in Android, navigate to Setting > Power Saving Mode and enable Use Power Saving Mode. Now when your device charge decrease to a specified level, some device features like WIFI would temporarily be disabled. You can almost customize everything here. For example you can choose to activate this feature only when battery charge gets to a level that you choose, with 10% as minimum and 70% as maximum.
When this mode is activated, the following features will be disabled:
WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, Sync, Display Brightness and Screen Timeout.
