While some OEMs are already offering the customize status bar feature, Android Marshmallow users can now take advantage of this useful feature and customize the icons to be shown in the notification bar. To customize status bar in Android Marshmallow, make sure your device is running the Android 6 and do as follows:
1. Go to the Settings and open the System UI Tuner settings. Note that this option should be found found in the very bottom of the list, and if you cannot find it, read this tip:How to Turn On System UI Tuner
2. Tap the Status Bar option and there you should see bunch of system settings to be shown or hidden in the notification bar
3. Toggle each system settings off/on to hide/show them (Some of available options are: Hotspot, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb, Airplane Mode and Wi-Fi)
