Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge can take 4K vidoe using the rear camera. To change video recording quality on Galaxy S7 (Edge) and choose between UHD, QHD, Full HD @60fps and other video recording resolutions, do as follows:
1. Open the Camera app on your GS7 or GS7e
2. Make sure you are holding the phone in portrait mode and the active camera is the Rear camera
3. Tap the Gear icon on the top left of the screen to open the Camera Settings on S7 or S7 Edge
4. Now tap the Video Size (Rear) option and there you can choose the video recording quality on Galaxy S7 (Edge)
**. If you want to shoot some 4k videos (which happens to be with no limitation, unlike the previous Galaxy models with 4k video recording capability), choose the UHD (3480 x 2160) mode.
**. To take 1080p videos, select the FHD mode and note that if you are shooting Full HD videos at 60fps, you are not allowed to take pictures while shooting the video.
