How to Disable Auto Correction on Nexus 4


 

 

 

 

 

Auto Correction feature on Android devices, correct mistyped words (space bar & Punctuation) as you type. Enable or disable auto correction on Nexus 4 by doing as follows:

1. Open "Settings" (The easiest way is to slide down the notification bar with 2 fingers and then tap "Settings")

2. Go to "Language & Input"

3. Tap the Android Keyboard's settings icon

4. Select "Auto Correction" and choose OFF to disable auto correction. The other three options specify the extent of correction, which are: Modes, Aggressive, Very Aggressive

** You can go one step further and enable or disable next word suggestions. It predicts the next word based on the previous one and make a suggest. What you need to do is to make sure, "Next Word suggestions" is marked
