How to Set Favorite Contacts on Galaxy S7 (Edge)

When you add a contact to favorites on Galaxy S7, you'll have quick access to them and can exclude them from the Do Not Disturb mode. To set favorite contacts on Galaxy S7 (Edge), do as follows:

1. Open the Phone app on your S7(edge)
2. Go to the Favorites tab
3. Touch the Add button on the top right side of the screen to open your contacts
4. Select the Contact you want to add to your favorites and you are done

You can also add a contact to favorites by doing as follows:
1. Open the Contacts app on your Galaxy device
2. Find the contact, you want to set as favorites and tap to open it
3. Now, simply touch the Star button to turn it from gray to yellow

To remove a contact for favorites on Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Egde, do as follows:
1. Open the Contacts app and go to the Favorites tab
2. Press and hold your finger on the contact you want to remove from the favorites list
3. And touch the Minus icon 

Note that, you cannot set a contact as favorites if the contact has been saved in the SIM card memory. You have to move it to your phone or one of your accounts, like Google account or Samsung account.
