There are several apps to take notes on LG G5, but what if you want to take a quick note on LG G5 without even unlocking your phone? To take a quick note on LG G5 using the Capture+ feature on LG G5, do as follows:

 

1. Open the Settings app on your LG G5 and go to the General tab
2. Under the Personal settings, make sure the Shortcut Key option is toggled ON (If you are on the List view, scroll down to the System settings, open the Shortcut Key settings and toggle it ON)
3. Now, to take a quick note on LG G5 while the screen is OFF, simply press the Volume UP key twice to launch the Capture+. 
4. Draw or type your note and save it.
