How to Use Fingerprint to login to websites on Galaxy S6


 

 

 

 

 

The fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S6 is not only for unlocking your device, as you can use your fingerprint to login to websites on Galaxy S6. To log into websites on Galaxy S6 by just placing your finger on the home button, do as follows:

 

1. Make sure you have already registered at least one of your fingers (learn how to setup fingerprint scanner on Galaxy S6)
2. Open Settings and follow this path: Personal >> Lock screen and security >> Fingerprints (under security)
3. Under the Fingerprint verification options, make sure the Web sign-in feature is enabled
4. Now, open the Internet application (Note that, this Web sign-in feature via fingerprint works only on the Galaxy S6 default web browser and not other browsers like Chrome)
5. Go to the website you want to log into with your fingerprint, enter your username and password, and then login
6. As soon as you press the login button, a pop-up window appears on the screen and asks you whether to save sign-in info or not
7. Make sure to mark the Sign in using your fingerprints option and then tap the Remember button
8. you have successfully assigned your fingerprint to this specific website and you just need to open the website, tap the login button (without providing username and password)  and place your finger on the home button to verify your identity to log into that website.
