Google is busy updating its Android applications and releasing new Applications for its own OS. Google Opinion Rewards, Google Text-To-Speech and Google Helpouts are the 3 new Android apps developed by Google available in Play Store.
We have already covered almost everything about the new Expert Video Chat system by Google, called Helpouts, and we really think it is going to be the future getting help from experts in their respective fields.

Now, let's review the other 2 new Google Applications:
1. Google Opinion Rewards
How often do you really care about surveys in the internet? Well, the new Google Android app may change your answer to the question, as you are rewarded with Google Play credits when participating in different surveys.
Google Opinion Rewards is currently available to users in the U.S., and after opening the application you need to answer to some basic questions about your self (age, location...) and then almost once a week, you need to give your opinion through surveys.
There is no detail about the amount of rewards per survey, but what you need to do is, being in the U.S., installing the application, and wait for a pop up notification, do the survey, and see how much credit is added to your Google Play account.
2. Google Text-to-Speech
Text to Speech feature is almost available in any Android device, but if your device doesn't have such feature (like Galaxy Note 3) and runs Android 4.0.3 and up, then this new Google application is definitely a good news for you. Google Text-to-Speech reads the text on your screen, as you are reading books in the Google Play Books, or looking for the correct pronunciation of a world in Google Translate, or many more.
If your device is currently using its own text-to-speech engine, after installing this new Google app, do as follows to set the Google text-to-speech as your preferred engine:
Settings >> Language and Input (You may have to go to Control tab first) >> Text-to-speech options (Text-to-Speech output), and then select Google application as the preferred TTS engine.
These languages are supported now: English (United Kingdom), English (United States), French, German, Italian, Korean, Spanish
