Wireless, USB, Bluetooth, NFC and many others, are just the names which occupied users mind. Among them, NFC is less practical in transferring big files and in some ways it is not widely employed yet. The most application of NFC right now is integration with e-payment systems in the mobile phones to make the payment easier. However, we heard the other names and may know them better. So, the question is, are we using these technologies with their full capacity or not?

Maybe you are one of these persons which keep the connection between your cell phone and pc alive, all the time, and in some way you are exchanging data between them frequently. Then, to do this, there are many ways. In this article we are going to review all available methods with their benefits and disadvantages so you can choose the best method for yourself.

1 – Cable Connection with Micro USB

Nowadays, the cable and Micro USB port are available on all the devices, which in other words they are the most basic and easy way to connect the gadget to PC. After connecting the cable to both devices, then you can transfer data in different ways. You may use the usual Storage mode, which gives you access to your memory card on PC, so you can transfer data easily. If you want to install an application, but you don’t want to first copy them on the memory and then install it from the cellphone, there are many applications which helps you to do that in one step easy. 2- Using apps with wireless connections

There are many situations that you don’t have access to the cable. Then, it is recommended that you always at least have one of the apps which can transfer data wirelessly on your gadget. These apps enable you to transfer data wirelessly. In this category there are two famous apps, AirDroid and WiFi file transfer.

WiFi file transfer: this application as its name suggests, transfers the data wirelessly among the devices. To do this, after the installation, you should connect two devices with WiFi (Directly or via a wireless router). Run the application and enter the IP shown on the interface on your PC’s browser to connect to the gadget.

AirDroid: the app which is so popular among the users has functions beyond just transferring the data. In fact it gives you a whole management to your android device. 3 - Use apps offered by different companies

There are other apps which are usually provided by the device manufactures for the gadget management. In the first part, we introduced one of them, HTC Sync, which is introduced by HTC Company for management of HTC devices and PCs. Other companies have their relevant application as well, for example, Sony PC Compagnion and Samsung Kies which are respectively for Sony and Samsung. Samsung kies has the ability to connect to the device wirelessly too. Each of these apps has different set of functions for the handset management.

4 – Using USB on the GO

All of you are familiar with USB on the GO. By using the specific cable and the gadgets which support this feature, you can transfer saved data on the flash memory or external hard disks to the gadget and vice versa. Additionally, in some of the devices you can experience some different things by connecting a mouse or keyboard.

Furthermore, there are some apps which make the file management in the USB Host or USB on the GO even easier. These apps will be installed on the gadgets with this ability and then they do transfer music, pictures, videos and etc.

5 – Using Cloud Services

With the help of these services and apps, you can send your data to a server on the Internet and then by setting the access levels, you can share them with your friends or your other devices.

One of the most famous and popular of these services is DropBox. DropBox has apps for all platforms including, Windows, Mac, Android, IOS, Windows Phone and many more. The application is easy to use and free of charge for the basic usage.
