1. Android KitKat Goes Live On Verizon’s HTC One
The U.S. variants of HTC One are being started to receive Android KitKat update, as Verizon has just rolled out the software for its handsets.
According to the Verizon’s support page, the 617MB update brings you the features of Android 4.4 and Sense 5.5 which some of them are:
Quicker access to search and content sources, Easily turn BlinkFeed on or off, Do not disturb function, Location settings and Gallery application improvements, and many more which you can find the complete details in the source below
2. LG G Pro 2 to be Unveiled on February 13 in Korea
A couple of weeks ago LG confirmed that G Pro 2 will be announced sometime in February, and MWC 2014 was expected to be where LG unveils its 6inch pahbelt. But according to some reports, LG has sent out invitation for a February 13 event in Korea (to be more specific, Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul) and th e invites read "Knock-knock knockin' on", which can point to the fact the favorite Knock On feature, we first saw on LG G2, will be available for G Pro 2 as well.
About the specs, the only thing we know for sure, is about the 4K video recordings, 13MP camera, and OIS technology, and the other rumored specs including a 6inch display, Snapdragon 800 CPU, 3GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat are yet to be confirmed.
3. Alleged Screenshot from HTC M8 Suggests On-Screen Buttons and Transparent UI
The latest @evleaks Tweet, gives us a hint of what we should expect from the next version of Sense, so called Sense 6.0, which is supposed to come along with HTC M8 (or HTC One 2 or HTC One+). According to leaked M8’s screenshot, the long rumored On-screen buttons have been confirmed, and it looks like the home screen have been refreshed with more live colors and transparency. The other noticeable thing about the screenshot is the Champions League picture on the middle, which considering the fact that HTC is the official partner of UEFA, we might be seeing the collaboration to find its way to HTC devices as well.
