Samsung has found a new way to increase the number of its Galaxy devices by introducing a mid-range phone which is supposed to be both the refreshed version of a 2012 phone and the lite version of the successor of that specific phone in 2013. These new devices are called Galaxy Neo devices and in 2014 we first saw Galaxy Grand Neo and now it is time for Galaxy Note 3 Neo which is Samsung’s solution to get more users to engage with great unique features of S Pen at lower cost.
In general, Galaxy Note 3 Neo features a 5.5inch Super AMOLED with 720p resolution, and the LTE version is called Note 3 Neo+ and features a Hexa-core Exynos processor.

Note 3 Neo doesn’t come with anything new and it targets those who love the original Galaxy Note 3 and S Pen features but are somehow short on cash! The leather-back cover does its best to make the device look like a premium phone and since it supports LTE connection you can enjoy web surfing and other related stuff at the speed of up to 150Mbps.
As you may have noticed, the Neo+ version (which supports LTE) is powered by a Hexa-core Exynos chipset which consists of two Cortex-A15 cores, clocked at 1.7 GHz and four Cortex-A7s, clocked at 1.3 GHz. We still don’t know whether Samsung is planning to assign different tasks to each of these processors or not (like Moto X which each processor has its own tasks to do), but the processor helped by an ARM's Mali-T624 GPU delivers a fast and smooth navigation through the heavy-weighed TouchWiz and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. By the way, since it’s the first time to see a Hexa-core chipset used on a smartphone, we should wait for the benchmarks result to find out how it functions in real.
About the software and S-Pen features, full S Pen functionality is available on Note 3 Neo, and you can enjoy all the new features of Note 3, including improved Multi Window, Air Command, Action Memo, S Finder, and Pen Window, on your 5.5” phablet.

Note 3 Neo is shorter, lighter and less wider than Note 3 which makes it easier to use, and apart from the size, there is hardly any difference between the 2 handsets and unlike Galaxy Note 2 which comes with a plastic back cover, you can enjoy the leather like cover on your Neo phone.
About the performance, Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3Ghz is of course much faster than the processor used on Note 3 Neo, but it doesn't mean you fell lag or problem when opening apps and launching tasks on the lite version of Galaxy Note 3.
In overall, unlike Galaxy Grand Neo which was nothing like a lite version of Grand 2, we believe Samsung has made a perfect new Note device for those who want a Galaxy Note 3 with less bigger size and less expensive price.

Galaxy Note 3 Neo Price and Availability
So, since it is supposed to be a budget phone, is the price really affordable? Samsung has not yet unveiled the price officially, but a German online retailer has already started to take pre-orders for both 3G and LTE enabled versions, and according to their website (notebooksbilliger), € 529,90 and € 499,00 are the prices for Note 3 Neo LTE+ and Note 3 Neo, respectively.
This price gets more interesting, when we see the retailer is already selling Galaxy Note 3 for cheaper price.

We'll keep you updated as soon as any confirmed news surfaces about the official prices and the availability of Galaxy Note 3 Neo worldwide.
