02. How to add apps’ shortcuts to the lock screen?

By default, and regardless of the screen lock method, there are 3 shortcuts on the lock screen: camera, emergency call (phone), and Google Now (voice search). There is also the option to add up to 5 shortcuts to launch applications right from the lock screen. To add app’s shortcuts to lock screen on LG G5, do as follows:

Step1: Open the Settings application

Step4: Now, tap each of the file slots and assign a new app shortcut to it.

Step5: Hit the Save button and you are all done.

Notice1: Strangely, on some models the shortcuts are not shown and only those default 3 shortcuts are shown.

Notice2: Strangely again, if you want to have a secure lock screen (say, pattern) and apps’ shortcuts at the same time, do the mentioned steps and after that switch back to the Pattern method. As you see, the shortcuts are there. (This may not work on any G5’s model)
