The already leaked LG’s phone is now official. LG G3 Beat, or LG G3s or LG G3 Mini, is the first LG’s device which packs most of the great features of LG G3 in a more compact package. The thin bezels, the overall design, the simple yet perfect user interface and the fast Laser Auto Focus technology are the features you can find on both the LG G3 and the LG G3 Beat. But on the other side, the screen size is smaller with less quality, the processing power is weaker and the battery capacity is lower.

The LG G3 Beat is using the same exact LG G3’s design language and considering the fact that we are dealing with a mid-range device, the design looks awesome and unique, and the thin bezels are just eye catching. When it comes to the screen size, we believe a 5-inch is enough for a smartphone but the 720p screen resolution can be kind of a deal breaker. But keep in mind that LG G3 Beat is aiming at the mid-range smartphone class.

Let’s get under hood where the quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz is responsible to power-up the device along with 1GB of RAM and the reasonable 2,540 removable battery.

When LG announced the LG G3, the Korean were very confident about the device’s camera as it was equipped with a unique technology called Laser Auto Focus, which could take shots faster than ever by measuring the distance using a laser beam. And the good news is that the LG G3 Beat is also coming with this innovative technology which means faster shots without losing the quality.

When it comes to the Software, the Android 4.4.2 KitKat is pre-installed and LG has managed to equip the LG G3 Beat with some of LG G3’s great software features including Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard and QuickMemo+.

You are now wondering about the LG G3 Beat Price and Availability, aren’t you?
Well, like the LG G3, the little brother will be first available in South Korea starting from July 18 and then the wider roll-out begins in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. Unfortunately LG has not yet announced any price for the LG G3 Beat, but since LG wants to get some fair market share in the mid-range class the price shouldn’t be any higher than the current device in such category. We are guessing LG G3 Beat (LG G3 s in the Europe) has every potential to be the best mid-tier phone in 2014 like its bigger brother, LG G3, which is undoubtedly one of the best three high-end smartphones money can buy. The other two devices are HTC One M8 and iPhone 5S :).

Update: Price Confirmed in Europe
While LG Beat will be shipped to the Europe after its debut in South Korea and will be called LG G3 s, the official LG blog in Germany announced the €349 price tag for the second member of LG G3 family. This price means that G3 s will be sold about €120 cheaper than the LG G3 with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM.
