As you can see, there are some amazing things in LG G6 specs and we can rely on them. Now, let's take a closer look.
LG G6 Pros
Design and Build Quality: LG has done a great job on the design in a way that can attract a lot of users. The screen covers most of the front part and there are no physical home buttons under the screen. It is extremely thin and there is no camera bump on the back which makes it seem more elegant.
Performance: Evidently, you can highly rely on the performance of the combination of Snapdragon 821 and 4GBs of RAM; so, it's a great device for gaming and 3D designs. Screen display is also brilliant and watching photos and movies on it will be a joyful experience.
Camera: Despite some deficiencies in the performance in low light and too strong sharpening, you can have a great experience in taking pictures with LG G6. It offers a great quality and texture details and the 125 degree FOV lens of it is great for landscapes and group selfies. It also comes with a square shooting mode.
No more modular gimmicks: Remember the G5 and its happy family? Well, the good news is that LG has ditched all the modular stuff in favor of delivering something neat and clean.
IP68: This rating means dust and water resistance.
Using Gorilla Glass 5, Google Assistant built in, and 3.5mm headphone jack are the other good LG G6 features.
LG G6 Cons
Front Camera: Well, a 5MP camera might be sufficient for some older versions of smartphones but we expect something more from LG G6. With the great rear dual camera, a 5MP camera is not satisfying.
The Battery: 3300 mAh battery is good but we expect development for new series and it is not much different from G5. It is also non-removable and so, you can't replace it when you need to it.
Only 32GB Version: In most markets, LG G6 is offered with 32GB of internal storage. Although it supports external SD card, but I believe it’s time to start producing flagships with at least 64GB of storage.
Glass Back is Scratch Friendly: The design is just perfect, but keep in mind that the glass back is totally prone to scratching. So, you should either use a cover or just don’t care about your G6 picking up scratches.
If I want to mention to other disadvantages, I might say that Snapdragon 821 is not much of an improvement, and not a lot of people might not be used to 18:9 aspect ratio.
What about LG G6 Price Tag??
Well, for now, LG G6 is available for 800$ in its home town, Korea. We don't know about the international price yet, but for sure it's going to be at least 700$. Is the price a deal breaker for you?
All in all, these are LG G6 pros and cons. As you can notice, there are lots of great features that might tempt us to buy it and satisfy us. However, we should wait for the rivals and see what they have to offer.
