Moto Z First Impressions + Moto Z Force First Impressions
Design: One of the remarkable Moto Z features is its design. The phone is very light as though it's empty, but not cheap. Its width is only 5.2mm which makes it very narrow. It is the narrowest phone of the brand but it's not just about narrowness. The design is really beautiful. Its curved edges and aluminum body make it hard not to love the design. The only disappointing feature of the design is the camera bump which can be a positive point when we use Moto Z Moto Modes.
Moto Modes: Moto Modes are the accessories that attach to the Moto Z series and work with them. They come in variable designs and easily attach to the body of the phone by magnets and cover the phone. They help you have a better access to the volume setting and provide a better display, battery life … They can be a good feature for this phone but they make the phone look bulkier and the narrow design gets concealed.
No 3.5mm Headphone Jack: The phone doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. It doesn't seem to be a good idea. Users have to use USB-C port. They should buy type-C headphones which are really rare or use type-C to headphone adapter and carry it with themselves which seems to be a real annoyance.
Battery: 2600 mAh battery doesn't seem to be a good point for Moto Z but the good news is that after using the phone for 8 hours, when the battery is drained, the phone recharges just in 15 minutes. According to what Lenovo has claimed, USB type-C port has made this feature available. Actually, Moto Z Force has 3500 mAh battery which seems satisfying and adding the fast charging feature to this battery seems fantastic.
Camera: 13MP rear camera in Moto Z is good but not enough to compete with the other brands and may persuade some people not to buy this phone. 21MP rear camera in Moto Z Force makes more sense and it can satisfy a lot of consumers by its high-quality and detailed pictures. However, both of the phones have 5MP cameras and some other brands may surpass these phones in this feature.
Conclusion
Evidently, we can predict Moto Z series to be successful if the claimed features come to reality. Fast charging, shatter shield screen, Moto Modes and the design are the brilliant features which make Moto Z series different. So, they make this phone a strong one in smartphone industry and Motorola will be a strong rival for the other brands.
