Motorola’s policy for producing smart phones (and other smart devices) is to make it much more affordable than other competitors without sacrificing much of the features.
The new Moto X, Moto X 2014, is not an exception as it packs a 5.2-inch Full HD screen powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset and on the pricing side, it comes at least $100 cheaper than the other competitors.
Well, the good news is that the company is going to start the Moto X 2014 pre-order from tomorrow (September 16, at 12PM Eastern, 9AM Pacific) and both branded model (carried by AT&T) and the unlocked GSM model (called the Pure Edition) are available to pre-order for $99 and $499 respectively.

If you are currently a student, educators and even alumni, you can get a $50 discount and buy the unlocked new Moto X for $449.99. All you need to do is follow this link, submit a form, provide your .EDU email address and promotion code will be sent to your educational email address.
