Galaxy-Note-7-Best-Features

Now that we know about Galaxy Note 7 Specs, let's get started with Galaxy Note 7 review about its best features. Note that, Samsung used to deliver the Note series with some exceptional hardware and software features, but Note 7 is not a huge upgrade over the S7 Edge and we believe that the S Pen is the only reason to choose Note 7 over the S7 Egde or even the S7.

Galaxy Note 7 Best Features

Iris Scanner

Let's start with the most amazing feature. Imagine a phone that recognizes you by scanning your eyes. Brilliant, isn't it? Well, let me introduce the first smartphone with this technology. On top of Note 7's screen aside from front camera, there is a sensor called Iris sensor and its duty is scanning your eyes and recognizing you and then, unlocking the phone. Actually, there are some limits for this se nsor. You shouldn't be wearing a glass while scanning and also it doesn’t work in the dark.

The Narrowest Galaxy Note with a Curved Screen

Designing a beautiful phablet that feels comfortable in hand is not an easy job but Samsung has done it perfectly. Although the phone is 5.7 inches but it's easy to hold because of its narrowness and its curved screen. Galaxy Note 7 is the first one in Note series with curved screen. The curved screen not only makes it easy to hold in hand but also it makes it hard to resist being attracted to its fabulous beauty.

The First Note Phone with IP68 Rating

Note 7 comes with IP68 Rating and it means that there's no way that dust can infiltrate the phone and it's waterproof. It can resist long term immersion up to a specified pressure. So, you don't have to worry about dust and water.

New Features of S Pen

What makes Galaxy Note series different from others is S Pen and it has improved a lot in Galaxy Note 7. It can recognize 4069 different pressure levels and it's designed to allow users to have more control over certain things. Its tip has also been narrowed to 0.7mm which makes it look like normal pens. The color of tip is also same as the rest of the S Pen.

Always On Feature

The always on feature is a new feature for Note series, and it's the improved version of what we've already seen on the S7 and S7 Edge. When this feature is on the screen doesn't turn off completely and it dims and shows a clock but that's not all. It allows you to turn on the screen with double tap or control the playing music. You can also have access to your gallery with a dim screen and 3rd party apps can finally send notifications there.

Other New Features

The new Galaxy Note supports USB Type-C port and you can charge your phone very fast. It's the first phone to use Gorilla Glass 5 which is stronger than other Gorilla Glasses. It comes with a new color too: Blue Coral.

So, this is it. The new Galaxy Note 7 review has come to an end and with all these great features, we are going to see a great success for Samsung. It will be released on August 19th for $800. Until then we shall wait and after that, we will see if Note 7 is a success or a failure.
