Galaxy Note 8 Review

Samsung has a special talent in announcing new products. After a lot of rumors about Galaxy Note 8, it was finally announced in Barcelona 2013 exhibition. Within its simple design, suitable dimension, powerful hardware and jellybean Android, it could draw a lot of user’s attention on it. You will get more familiar with this device in the following.

Design

It’s a Samsung manner to combine beauty and simplicity in its designs to achieve the best result. The general Galaxy Note 8 design follows the same Galaxy’s family rules. The tablet’s thickness is only 8 mm and has a 338 g weight. Although it is a little unusual to take such a big phone on your ears and talk, the design is made vertically so that phone calls are handled easily.

Hardware

The first hardware piece which draws more attention than others, is the processor. It’s a quad core Exynos 4412 with 1.6 GH of frequency. 2 GB of RAM and Mali-400MP are also accompanying the gadget. Based on what capacity you desire, the internal memory is a selectable optional 32 or 16 GB. You are free to expand to 64 GB using the SD memory, if the default internal memory is not satisfying you. The display type is a simple TFT LCD, which unfortunately comes with no protection against physical harms. It is an 8 inch display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 and 189 PPI pixel density. Camera is 5 MP with no LED. Its features are: auto-focus, GPS tagging, smile detection, anti-vibration and touch focusing. It is c apable of recording HD videos with 30 frame rates. The tablet is equipped with these communication tools: Dual channel WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, infrared and GPS chipset and also have these sensors: accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and NFC. The 4600 mA battery is capable of sufficing 8 hours of conversation, 8.5 hours video watching and 120 hours of music playing. Since the tablet is a Note family member, it comes with its special pen which is of course the new generation of S Pen.
