Sony started the year by unveiling Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z1S for T-Mobile at CES, and today doubles the number of devices announced in the 2014, by adding 2 new models to the current Xperia lineup: Xperia T2 Ultra with 6inches screen for emerging markets, and Xperia E1 with 100Db speaker for just music and music and music.

As you can say be the specs and considering the emerging markets as the target population, the T2 Ultra is a mid-range phablet which is going to be available in 3 colors: black, white and purple.

The camera has been the advantage of Sony’s new devices in the past months and T2 Ultra is not an exception, as it comes with some of the cool Sony’s camera features like: Portrait Retouch, Collage, Background defocus, Timeshift burst and Sweep Panorama.

Although the device has been designed for China, the Middle East, and Africa, but Sony is preparing to launch the phablet in Q1 2014 in Europe as well as mentioned regions and countries, with not specified price.

The other Sony’s new device announced today is Xperia E1, which Sony claims it is “The world’s best smartphone in its class”, comparing with top 100 smartphones of 2013 priced less than 175 Euro at launch.

This budget phone Xperia device is for those who want to listen to their favorite music Loud and Clear and thanks to 100dB speaker, dedicated hardware key for Sony's Walkman application, and 30-day trial for Sony's Music Unlimited catalog, you won’t get disappointed at all.

We don’t know much about the price, availability, and the extent of shipment, but as Sony is comparing Xperia E1 with devices less than 175 Euros and considering the low-end features on the device, we are guessing Xperia E1 will be priced in the $200 range with more countries to be shipped (compare to the T2 Ultra).

XperiaBlog is well known for leaking confirmed news about Sony devices, and they believe they've got the prices for these newly announced Xperia smartphones in Europe. As we predicted the Xperia E1 will be priced around $200, and the source suggests the entry-level Walkman device will cost €129 in Belgium,  €139 in Germany and €149 in the Netherlands. The price for the Dual-SIM variant is still unclear.
About the price of T2 Ultra, it is expected to be priced €399 across Europe.
Since the devices are set to launch in the Q1 2014, more details about the price and market avaialbility will surface in the next days.

Update 2: Xperia E1 Pre-Order Begins in UK, Priced at £112.49
Clove is the first UK online retailer, which has just begun the Xperia E1 both the black & white colors with no specified shipment schedule and even no official price. By the way the pre-order price is set at £112.49 (£134.99 Including Value Added Tax), you can pre-order either colors with 4GB of memory right from the Clove online store.
We don't know for sure, but maybe you need to wait a month or two (or even three month later in April).
