Selfies are not an unfamiliar type of photography anymore as it has already found its way to Oxford dictionary and millions of selfies are taken and shared every day. So, no surprise companies and mobile manufcaturers tend to focus on producing smartphones with more Selfies options and high quality self-portrait shots.

The latest Selfie focused device comes from Sony and the Japanese believes their PROSelfie device, Sony Xperia C3,helps you never miss a selfie moment and takes perfect selfies.


First, let’s see what’s under the hood and then we review the features of Xperia C3.

As you can say by the specs, Xperia C3 is categorized as a middle-range Android device with somehow an out-dated chipset and a 720p screen. But So ny doesn’t care about the specs as long as Xperia C3 announced for taking perfect selfies thanks to its 5 MP, wide-angle front camera which is equipped with LED flash as well as real-time selfie applications.

Sony believes that Xperia C3 is the best smartphone to take perfect selfies and other than the LED Flash for the front camera, you get to have lots of selfie-related tools to boost the quality of taken shots. Movie Creator, Timeshift burst (to always get the best picture), Creative effects, Sweep Panorama, Social Live, AR Effect and Portrait retouch are some of these tools and applications.


Sony Xperia C3 supports the high-speed 4G/LTE connection and the download speed may increase to up to 150Mb/s (the upload goes up to 50Mb/s) which is suitable for instant sharing your perfect selfies.


Sony has not yet revealed the pricing, but China is the first country to get the Sony Xperia C3 in August 2014 and of course the global roll out will just start after that.
