This may sound silly, but sometime you just lose the location of the mouse pointer in Windows. Or sometimes during a presentation you want to emphasis on a point. In either situations, a fading circle around the pointer is very useful to find and show the pointer location. To show location of mouse pointer in Windows 10, do as follows:
1. Open the Settings on your desktop PC
2. Go to the Personalization settings
3. Choose the Themes settings from the left pane
4. Click the Mouse Pointer Settings option
5. The Mouse Properties window is opened.
6. Click to open the Pointer Options tab
7. Now make sure to mark the "Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key" option
8. hit the OK and you are all set
9. From now on, you just need to press the CTRL key to find and show the pointer location on the screen
