Ownership and independence
Open Chair is owned and published by Elva. Every article that mentions or links to Elva carries a disclosure. Elva does not get to approve or change what we write about other vendors.
How we test and compare
- Reviews are based on hands-on use, vendor demos or public documentation, and each review says which.
- Prices are taken from vendor pages or quotes, dated, and refreshed when we update the article.
- Comparison and “best of” lists state their scoring method up front.
- Vendors cannot pay for placement or for a review.
Sources and facts
Statistics link to their original source. Claims made by a vendor, including Elva, are attributed to that vendor rather than stated as fact.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Every article is edited, fact-checked and approved by a person before it is published, and our editors are responsible for everything we publish.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction at the end of the article with the date it was made.
