Insightly is a cloud CRM where your team keeps leads, contacts, organizations, opportunities and projects in one place. The pricing page pitches the Plus plan at small teams and Enterprise at large organizations. CRM plans cost $29, $49 or $99 per user a month, billed annually, and Plus and Professional come with a free 14-day trial that needs no credit card.
Quick verdict
If your sales team wants pipeline, contacts and post-sale projects in one system, Insightly covers that from the Plus plan at $29 per user a month, billed annually. Workflow automation, lead routing and the AI Copilot start on Professional at $49. Sandboxes, quotes, audit logging and SAML single sign-on sit on Enterprise at $99, where the page says “Contact sales”. Marketing automation, the Service help desk and the AppConnect integration builder are separate products with their own prices, and the All-in-One bundle lists required onboarding, support and setup fees on top. On the phone apps, the newest review in our data is from August 2026. The most common complaint from recent app reviewers is something that broke after an update, such as Google sign-in on iPhone.

Features
These come from the home and pricing pages on insightly.com, plus its “CRM for product teams” page where noted.
- Leads and pipeline: lead management, web-to-lead capture, a Kanban view of the lead pipeline, opportunity management and customizable sales processes with separate pipelines for different lines of business. Professional adds lead assignment and routing.
- Contacts and email: contact and organization records with their history, links between contacts and organizations, email templates, tracked emails to targeted lists and bidirectional email sync with your inbox. Mass email is capped at 2,500, 5,000 or 10,000 emails a day, depending on the plan.
- Projects: won opportunities convert to projects with their record data, and the pricing page lists native project management and automated task and event templates for projects.
- Reports and dashboards: dashboards with 40+ chart types, scheduled reports you can send to anyone, and data alerts. Custom dashboard cards for tracking KPIs are limited to 100 on Professional and unlimited on Enterprise; Plus shows a dash.
- Automation and AI: workflow automation and AI Copilot start on Professional. The comparison table lists 75 Copilot queries on Professional and 100 on Enterprise. The home page says the Insightly CRM MCP connects your CRM to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.
- Admin and customization: custom fields (50, 100 or 200 by plan), role-based permissions and page layouts (2 on Plus, unlimited above), and custom objects from Professional. In the comparison table, field-based permissions, calculated fields, custom validation rules, AWS Lambda code, products, pricebooks and quotes, audit logging, sandboxes and SAML and SCIM single sign-on show dashes for Plus and Professional.
- Integrations: the pricing page names Google, Microsoft 365, PandaDoc, QuickBooks and Xero, file links from Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive and Box, a REST API and webhooks. AppConnect, the no-code integration builder, is sold separately; the pricing page says it has “hundreds of pre-built app connectors”, and the home page names Microsoft, DocuSign, Shopify, WordPress, PandaDoc, Netsuite and QuickBooks “and 2,000+ more”. The product-teams page names Jira, Asana and Trello.
- Security and compliance (vendor claims): the security page says Insightly has a SOC 2 Type II attestation, with the report available from your Customer Success Manager or Account Executive, and that its MSA and DPA address GDPR and CCPA. It also says Insightly is fully compliant with HIPAA obligations as a Business Associate. The privacy policy adds that customers who want to process Protected Health Information can ask to add a Business Associate Addendum, and that the MCP Server and AI Copilot are not covered by it.
- Support: the pricing page says every user can reach support by phone (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT) or by email, with responses typically within 24 hours. A paid Premier Support and Success plan adds faster responses, longer hours and training.

Mobile apps
Insightly CRM is free on Android and iPhone. Both apps are version 5.0.3, updated October 2, 2026. The Android app has 100,000+ downloads and no ads in the listing data; the iPhone app needs iOS 15.0 or later. Both listings describe the same thing: managing customer relationships, leads, sales opportunities, marketing campaigns and projects, with the platform available in a web browser and the mobile app. The pricing page adds business card scanning, contact and calendar sync with your phone, and voice notes as mobile features. The Android app asks for access to contacts, calendar, camera (“take pictures and videos”) and the microphone (“record audio”), among other permissions.

Pros (from app reviews)
Pros and cons use Android and iPhone reviews from the last 24 months only. That is a small set, so read these as individual reports. Older reviews are left out.
- Better than the mobile website: two iPhone reviewers say the website is a poor substitute on a phone. One says it’s “not formatted well for mobile devices”, and the other is glad not to “zoom and scroll” in the browser.
- Positive reviews: a few leave five stars. One iPhone reviewer calls it a “Reliable interface, predictable content, good platform”, and another says “most things about Insightly are pretty user-friendly” while still giving two stars.
- Support that followed through: one iPhone reviewer in June 2026 says support and the developers worked with them for almost 3 weeks until sign-in worked again in 5.0.1. Another reviewer that month says support was “taking forever”.
Cons (from app reviews)
- Things that broke after an update: this is the most common complaint. Several reviewers tie their problem to an upgrade or a new version: a datepicker that misbehaves after the upgrade, the Linked Email Address on opportunities going missing, and Google sign-in breaking.
- Google sign-in on iPhone: two iPhone reviewers in June 2026 say Google sign-in stopped working with the new version. One says it works again since 5.0.1; the other wasn’t sure whether iOS, Google or Insightly 5.0.0 was to blame.
- Hard to use: a few find the app hard to follow or the interface poor, and one says the app is “painful and time consuming to use”.
- Crashes on Android: two Android reviewers in January 2026 say the app closes on its own; one of them says it happens every time they open it.
- Tasks that need a computer: two iPhone reviewers go back to their computer for some work. One can’t send a template email from the phone and calls changing an opportunity’s status “Glitchy”. The other says search inside their open opportunities returns every opportunity in the organization, and long titles are cut off.
- Single reports: one iPhone reviewer can’t get rid of the black background and wants a “delete all” option. Another, leaving after more than five years, says the Outlook add-in hadn’t worked for months.
Rating breakdown
| Stars | Ratings | Share |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 825 | 56.2% |
| 4 | 234 | 15.9% |
| 3 | 58 | 3.9% |
| 2 | 147 | 10.0% |
| 1 | 205 | 14.0% |
Google Play’s breakdown covers 1,469 ratings; the listing shows 1,477 in total. About 24.0% are one or two stars. Most of the recent reviews we counted are one or two stars, but the Android reviews we collected were picked partly by star level, so low ratings may be over-represented in them compared with all ratings. The data we collected doesn’t include a star breakdown for the iPhone app.
Who it’s for
A good fit if:
- Your sales team wants leads, contacts, opportunities and post-sale projects in one CRM, and Plus at $29 per user a month, billed annually, fits the budget.
- You need workflow automation and lead routing for a growing team (Professional, $49 per user a month, billed annually).
- Your finance or document tools are QuickBooks, Xero or PandaDoc, or your team works in Google or Microsoft 365.
- IT needs sandboxes, audit logging and SAML and SCIM single sign-on before rollout (Enterprise, $99 per user a month, billed annually).
- You want to try it first: Plus and Professional have a 14-day trial with no credit card.
Look elsewhere if:
- You only want to pay month to month: the pricing page says “billed annually” on every plan, so ask sales about other terms before you commit.
- You’re budgeting for the All-in-One bundle on a small budget: its table marks onboarding ($1,500), AppConnect setup ($3,000) and Premier support (20% of license, $3,000 minimum annually) as required.
- You handle Protected Health Information and want to use AI Copilot or the MCP Server with it: the privacy policy says they aren’t covered by the Business Associate Agreement.
- Your team works mainly from phones: recent app reviewers report breakage after updates, crashes on Android and tasks that still need a computer.
