RoboForm is a password manager and form filler from Siber Systems, a company in Fairfax, Virginia. For companies, the Business plan costs $3.33 per user per month, billed annually, and adds an admin center, single sign-on (SSO) and SCIM provisioning. A free tier covers unlimited passwords on a single device.
Quick verdict
If your team needs shared passwords with central admin, RoboForm’s Business plan has the central controls you’d want: SSO, SCIM provisioning, role-based access, custom security policies and activity logs. Pricing is per user, so cost grows with headcount, and the page offers a free trial with no credit card. Very large companies can ask for Enterprise, which adds volume pricing and self-hosting for 1,000+ users. The mobile apps are the weak spot. Both have 4.7 stars, but many Android reviewers in our sample say autofill on phones often fails, and many say RoboForm works better on a desktop than on Android.

Features
These come from the home, pricing and security pages on roboform.com and the business pricing page.
- Logins and forms: one-click logins, a password generator, and form filling. The pricing page says every account gets unlimited password storage, offline access, a password audit, password change history, passkey management, bookmarks, Safenotes and logins for Windows applications.
- Admin and provisioning (Business): an admin center, SSO integration, SCIM provisioning, custom security policies, role-based access control and separate personal and work vaults for each employee.
- Sharing: shared folders and items with access levels. Business adds granular sharing controls with multiple sharing tiers.
- Reporting (Business): detailed activity logs, exportable reports and audit, and a security dashboard that shows password health for each employee, group and the whole company.
- Breach monitoring: a compromised password scan on every plan. Premium and Family add Data Breach Monitoring for up to five email addresses; Business lists dark web monitoring and alerts.
- Sign-in options: two-factor authentication by email, SMS, authenticator app, passkey, trusted device or hardware security key, plus a built-in TOTP authenticator and Passwordless Unlock with a passkey.
- Emergency Access and local-only mode: on Premium and Family, trusted contacts can get access to your data, and local-only mode keeps data and backups on your device instead of RoboForm’s servers.
- Importing: the home page says you can import from every browser and major password manager, or from a CSV file.
- Security claims: the vendor says it uses AES256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA256 and a zero-knowledge design, where decryption happens on your device. It says Secfault Security audited RoboForm and that it runs a bug bounty program. These are the vendor’s statements; we didn’t check them.

Every price on the pricing pages is billed annually. The pages also show a separate first-year price for new users, but that figure didn’t load when we checked, so the renewal prices above are what you’d pay from year two. The business page mentions a multi-year discount. Premium and Family come with a 30-day money-back guarantee; the business page doesn’t state refund terms or a trial length. The home page puts secure cloud backup and advanced two-factor authentication in the Free plan. The store listings’ purchase terms put cloud backup and two-factor authentication in Premium, so confirm with RoboForm if it matters to you.
Mobile apps
RoboForm Password Manager is free on both stores. The Android app has 1,000,000+ downloads, no ads, and in-app purchases of $29.99 to $47.99 per item; it was last updated October 16, 2026. The iPhone app is version 10.0.0, updated October 12, 2026, and needs iOS 17.0 or later. Both listings describe a built-in RoboForm browser that logs in with one tap, autofill in other browsers and apps, folders, a Security Center for weak or reused passwords, and unlock with a PIN or biometrics (Touch ID or Face ID on iPhone). The Android listing adds a Wear OS version that needs the phone app. On Android, RoboForm can use the Accessibility Service to help autofill on older devices or when autofill fails; the listing says it doesn’t store information when doing so.

Pros (from app reviews)
These come from 221 Android reviews from September 2025 to October 2026. The sample takes the latest 100 reviews plus the latest 40 from each star level, so complaints show up far more often than in the overall ratings, where 82.5% are 5 stars. The data has no written iPhone reviews.
- Long-term use: many reviewers have used RoboForm for a decade or more; one says since 2000 and another since 2007.
- Reliability: several call it reliable or say it just works, and a few say it syncs well across their devices. One in March 2026 says it “syncs very quickly”.
- Ease of use: a few call it easy. One, in June 2026, says Bitwarden was harder to use.
- Password generator: a few praise it. One likes using a generated password as a starting point and editing it.
- Support: a few praise the support team, and two say replies come fast. A few others say support didn’t fix their problem; one, in July 2026, has waited two years for a Samsung Browser fix.
- Work use: two reviewers say they used it for a company or business.
Cons (from app reviews)
- Autofill on Android: many say autofill doesn’t appear or doesn’t fill, in browsers such as Brave, Firefox, DuckDuckGo and Samsung Browser, and in other apps. A few say it doesn’t offer to save new logins, one of them in Edge and Brave. In several 2026 replies, the developer suggests turning on both Native Autofill and Accessibility Mode, under Settings > Integration.
- Desktop beats Android: many say RoboForm works well on a PC but not on their Android phone or tablet.
- Unlocking: several say biometric unlock, the master password prompt, 2FA or passkeys stopped working or ask too often.
- The built-in browser: several dislike that the app is built around its own browser. A few say tapping a saved login opens the website instead of showing the details; a developer reply from October 2026 points to the “Tap on Login action” setting. In February 2026 the developer said a future update will add an option to limit search to RoboForm data only.
- Crashes and freezes: several say the app froze, hung or wouldn’t open, often after an update.
- Sync: several say logins don’t sync reliably between devices.
- Hard to use: several find the Android app confusing or clunky.
- Battery drain: a few reviewers in September and October 2025 say the app drained their battery. The developer’s replies then said a fix was in progress.
- Price and renewals: a few find it expensive. One says renewing customers get smaller discounts than new users, and another says the price rose by $6 a year.
- Master password recovery, import and export: a few had trouble recovering a forgotten master password, and a few had trouble importing or exporting data in a clean format.
Rating breakdown
These are Android app ratings. The data we collected doesn’t include a star breakdown for the iPhone app.

| 3 | 838 | 2.3% |
| 2 | 188 | 0.5% |

The breakdown covers 37,141 ratings; the listing shows 37,149 in total. One and two star ratings make up 2.5%.
Who it’s for
A good fit if:
- Your company wants SSO, SCIM provisioning and role-based access in a per-user plan with a published price.
- Your IT lead needs activity logs, audit reports and a password-health dashboard per employee.
- You’ll buy 10 or more licenses: the Business plan then includes a Family plan (up to 5 accounts) for personal use.
- You’re a large organization that has to self-host (1,000+ users, Enterprise).
Look elsewhere if:
- Your team works mainly on Android phones: many app reviewers say autofill there is unreliable.
- You want monthly billing; every published price is billed annually.
- You need a list of named integrations beyond SSO and SCIM; the pricing pages don’t give one.
