What is Themelia?
Themelia is a theme library for iPhone. You pick a theme and its installer sets the app icons, widgets and wallpaper together, or you mix pieces from different themes. The listing covers styles from iOS 26 looks to sports, movies, music, anime, K-pop and cartoons, and it adds a virtual pet. It has been on the App Store since October 2023.
Key features
- Large library: 5,000+ themes, 9,000+ wallpapers and 12,000+ widgets, with new free themes, widgets and wallpapers added daily.
- Themepacks: 200+ packs with matching Home Screen and Lock Screen designs.
- One-click installer: sets app icons, widgets and wallpapers in a few taps.
- Screen data: the listing names battery status, date displays and weather forecasts.
- Virtual pet: a pet you raise inside the app.
Themelia vs. what a lock screen app should have
“Listed” means the App Store listing names the feature, “Partial” means it covers part of it, and “Reviews only” means reviewers describe it but the listing doesn’t. Themelia is built around the Home Screen, so two Lock Screen rows are only partly covered.
Must have

|---|---|---|

| Ready-made designs or themes | Listed | 5,000+ themes and 200+ themepacks |

| Lock Screen wallpapers that fit the OS’s lock screen features | Partial | 9,000+ wallpapers; the listing doesn’t mention Depth Effect |

Pros (from user reviews)
- Fans: several reviewers say they love the app or call it great, writing in English and Spanish. One likes that you can change app icons, wallpaper and widgets in one place.
- Cute designs: one reviewer calls every wallpaper and setup cute, but says they are always locked.
- Better than expected, for one: one reviewer expected another “watch a million ads” app and calls this one “genuinely amazing”. Several others complain about ads (see Cons).
Cons (from user reviews)
- Ads: several reviewers complain about ads, from an ad every time you tap a theme to ads “every few seconds”. One says the ads you watch to unlock items don’t work.
- Locked content: several reviewers say they have to pay, that content is locked, or that the app pushes Premium. One says they hate paying for a free trial.
- Watermarks: one reviewer in June 2026 says free widgets now carry watermarks, which ruins the look.
- Doesn’t work: two reviewers say the app doesn’t work, without more detail.
Most reviews in our sample are 5-star. The data we collected doesn’t include a star breakdown of the 14,725 ratings, so we can’t say how common these complaints are across all of them.
Pricing
Themelia is free to download, and the listing says new free themes, widgets and wallpapers arrive daily. It doesn’t describe a paid tier or prices, and our data has no in-app purchase information. Reviewers fill in some of the gap: a few say content is locked or needs payment, one mentions Premium, one a free trial, and several report ads. Check the price on the app’s purchase screen before you start a trial.
Privacy and permissions
We couldn’t read the App Store privacy label for Themelia, so we make no claim about what data it collects. The listing links to a privacy policy and terms of use on the developer’s site. No reviewer in our sample mentions a sign-in or privacy concern.
Who it’s for
Themelia suits you if you want a themed iPhone with matching icons, widgets and wallpaper set up in a few taps, and you’re fine with ads or paying for the designs you like most. Skip it if you want everything free and ad-free, or if you mainly want Lock Screen widgets with countdowns, photos or health data.
